Cleanin Cleaning Services (SSM 202503872393 (1487464-X)) ("we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal data in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and its amendments ("PDPA").

1. Personal data we collect

Customers: name, mobile number, email, service address, property type, booking dates, payment records, and any other information you choose to give us (for example pets or access arrangements).
Job applicants: name, contact details, area of residence, work experience, résumé and any other information provided in your application.
Website visitors: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URL and advertising parameters (for example utm parameters), collected through cookies or similar technologies.

2. Purposes of collection

to respond to enquiries, provide quotations and arrange cleaning services;
to contact you before and after a service, send reminders, follow up and provide customer support;
to process payments, issue receipts and keep accounting records;
to process job applications and recruitment;
to improve our website and services and to measure advertising performance;
with your consent, to send you offers and promotions (you may unsubscribe at any time);
to comply with the law or lawful requests from authorities.

3. Sources of personal data

We mainly collect personal data directly from you, for example through website forms, WhatsApp, phone calls or email. Some data may come from advertising platforms (for example Facebook or Google lead forms) or from a person who referred you.

4. Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We only disclose it where necessary to:

the cleaner assigned to your service (limited to your name, address, contact details and information needed for the service);
third-party service providers who support us, such as website hosting, cloud storage, messaging, accounting and payment providers;
parties to whom disclosure is required by law or by a lawful request from a government authority.

5. Transfer outside Malaysia

Some of our service providers (for example cloud storage or advertising platforms) may store data on servers outside Malaysia. We take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data receives a level of protection comparable to the PDPA when it is transferred.

6. Cookies and advertising tracking

This website may use cookies, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Ads and similar tools to understand how the site is used and to measure advertising performance. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work properly as a result.

7. Retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes above, or for as long as required by law (for example tax and accounting records). Data from unsuccessful job applicants is generally kept for no more than 12 months. After that, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including access controls, confidentiality obligations for staff and the use of service providers with appropriate safeguards. If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to cause you significant harm, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commissioner and affected individuals as required by law.

9. Your rights

Access and correction: you may request access to, or correction of, the personal data we hold about you. A fee permitted by law may be charged for access requests.
Withdrawal of consent: you may withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data, or ask us to stop sending you promotional messages, at any time.
Limiting processing: you may ask us to limit the processing of your personal data.
Data portability: to the extent the law is in force and it is technically feasible, you may ask us to transmit your personal data to another data controller.

We will respond to your request within the period required by law (generally 21 days).

10. Obligatory and voluntary information

Fields marked "*" on our forms are obligatory. If you do not provide them, we may be unable to give you a quotation, arrange a service or process your job application.

11. Minors

Our services are not directed at persons under 18. If you are under 18, please provide your personal data only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with the date of the update.

14. Language

This policy is available in English, Bahasa Melayu and Chinese. If there is any inconsistency between the versions, the English version prevails.
